My Story
Hey, I’m Christos Fellas, the founder of Fellas Finance.
I was born and raised in Norwich, UK, and I’ve lived in Norfolk all my life (and yes, you can probably tell from my accent in my videos!).
My journey here has been far from straightforward. At first, I dreamed of becoming a professional golfer, but it didn’t take long to realise that wasn’t going to happen. From there, I threw myself into learning software development. After three years of studying and coding, though, I discovered I hated it… turns out it isn’t quite like The Social Network made it look.
By my mid-20s, I was stuck. I had no clear direction, was working a poorly paid job, and felt like I had nothing to build towards. That’s when I stumbled onto side hustles as a way to increase my income and from there, I discovered the world of personal finance.
That discovery completely changed my life.
For almost ten years I had believed financial freedom was out of reach, but suddenly, I had a pathway. And as the over sharer I’ve always been, I thought: why not make YouTube videos about it? Fast forward eight years, and here I am still creating content across all the three major platforms.
My passion really does lie in spreading the message of good financial practices and, most importantly, creating awareness.
Personal finance isn’t taught in schools (even though it should be), so I want to reach people earlier than I was reached. My one core value is simple: stay true to myself. I’ll never talk about something I don’t understand. Everything I share comes directly from my own experiences and lessons learned along the way.
I’m also not an “expert” and I’m not afraid to admit it, infact I’ve made more mistakes with my finances than most.
I’m just a regular guy with a marketing job who wakes up every day I wake up with one simple mission: to be able to help at least one person become better with their money.
If this is your first time discovering me, there’s one thing I’d love for you to take away: watch my content with an open mind and if it does help you in any way, please let me know.
Hearing that I’ve made a difference is what keeps me going.
